About the assignment

WeQube is currently looking, on behalf of our client, for a Senior Software Developer within Android Automotive for an exciting assignment in Gothenburg.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software solutions within Android Automotive. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and play an important role in delivering high-quality, scalable systems.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

• A B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Software Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or similar
• 
  
• Several years of experience in Android application and system development
• 
  
• Strong skills in Android Java, Kotlin, and Android Studio
• 
  
• Solid experience with AOSP (Android Open Source Project) and the AOSP build system
• 
  
• Good understanding of modern architectural patterns such as MVP, MVVM, and layered architecture
• 
  
• Experience with Android testing frameworks such as JUnit, Espresso, and Mockito
• 
  
• Experience working with Continuous Integration (CI)
• 
  
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken

Meritorious

It is considered an advantage if you have:

• Experience in Android Automotive development
• 
  
• Experience within Automotive Infotainment systems (e.g., settings applications or similar)
• 
  
• A valid driver’s license (Category B)
